Environment
Harriet House School is situated within a 5 acre walled garden, previously part of the grounds of Frilsham House School. The grounds provide a wonderful environment and extensive space for play and sports for the children.
Based within the Yattendon Estate’s 9,000 acres of farmland and woodland the school has access to further, even more extensive outdoor space which benefit the pupils’ understanding of the environment, a core part of the school’s Montessori approach.
The school is continuing to invest in the grounds with additional play and sports facilities in development.
School
Studies show that Montessori-educated children are more independent, creative and socially adept and regularly out-perform traditionally educated children.
