  1. “Bucolic Bliss” in The Telegraph

    Harriet House has been recognised by The Telegraph as one of the 5 sought-after nurseries in and around London. Highlighting the annual Literary Festival, the article goes on to describe Harriet House as “where Berkshire parents go to make sure their children get a fun, outdoorsy upbringing…Bucolic bliss.” To read the whole article click here.

  2. Prep School Head Talk: The Manor School

    On 6th May 2015 Mr Piers Heywood, Head of The Manor School gave a very interesting and insightful talk about choosing a school for the next stage of education. He shared a colourful picture of life at The Manor and answered questions from parents of girls in Nursery and the Pre Prep at Harriet House.

  3. Harriet House recognised in Tatler’s ‘Top Nursery Guide’


    We are delighted to have been recognised in Tatler’s inaugural guide to the Top British Nurseries. The article recognises the importance of “love, light, laughter and literacy” in Nurseries and goes on to describe Harriet House as “amazing” and advises parents “if you’re Berkshire-based, you’d be mad to miss it”.

    Of the 18 nurseries commended 15 were London-based with Harriet House the only non-London nursery recommended in the South East.

  4. Trip to Bristol Aquarium

    On Monday 26th January our Reception and Class One children enjoyed a visit to Bristol Aquarium.  We enjoyed an underwater safari with Sam, our wonderful guide and drew our favourite sea creatures.

  5. Fun playing in the snow

    We had a wonderful morning enjoying the snow on Tuesday! We made the most of the weather, the children and staff wrapped up warm and had a great time playing in our lovely grounds.

  6. Prep School Talk: Thorngrove School

    On 15th January 2015 Mr Adam King, Head of Thorngrove School gave a very interesting and informative talk about choosing the right school for the next stage  of education. This was the first of a series of talks over the coming months.

  7. Kipper’s Snowy Day

    On Tuesday 9th December the children enjoyed a wonderful trip to see Kipper’s Snowy Day at the theatre.
