  1. Casa Bambini Opens – January 8th 2019

    Casa Bambini, our new room for babies from 1 to 2 years old opened its doors this week. We are proud to be taking an earth friendly approach using bamboo and recyclable equipment where possible. Going Green for 2019!

  3. Heads Talk – Wednesday 3rd October, 7pm

    We are delighted to welcome Mr Jon Bartlett, Head of St Andrews school to talk to you about the important decisions parents have to make in choosing the right education for our children.

  4. Syllabus Supper – Thursday 20th September, 7.30pm

    We invite you to join us to hear all about the Montessori ethos. Staff from The Little House, Nursery and our Reception class will explain how the children learn throughout the school and answer your questions at a very interactive evening. This will be followed by a delicious supper and the opportunity to ask any questions and chat with staff.

  5. Literary Festival – 18th and 19th September, 7pm

    Join Harriet House at The Royal Oak on Tuesday 18th September and Wednesday 19th September, 7pm.

    On Tuesday we welcome Desmond Seward, renowned popular historian and author of nearly thirty books. His latest is Renishaw Hall: The Story of the Sitwells.

    In a change to our previously advertised schedule we are delighted to welcome Hugo Vickers on Wednesday.¬†Hugo Vickers is a writer and broadcaster, who has written biographies of many twentieth century figures, including the Queen Mother, Gladys, Duchess of Marlborough, Cecil Beaton, Vivien Leigh, a study of Greta Garbo, Alice, Princess Andrew of Greece, and his book, The Private World of The Duke and Duchess of Windsor was illustrated with pictures from their own collection. Mr Vickers’s book, The Kiss – The Story of an Obsession won the 1996 Stern Silver Pen Award for Non-Fiction.

    Easter Bonnets, hunting for eggs amongst the daffodils whilst enjoying a cake and coffee! What a wonderful way to end the Spring term.

Harriet House has become a second home for our little boy where he has acquired confidence, self-esteem and enthusiasm for learning new things. There has never been a day when he was not excited to go to school. For a parent this is so important.
